Oh Christmas Tree

We got our tree today... Montana style. We drove to the national forest (10 miles from our house), hiked, found the tree we wanted, chopped it down and drug it to the truck. While tree shopping in the forest, it is easy to fall in love with a tree only to realize that it is 40 feet tall, even though it is much shorter than the others around it.


The boys had a blast. Isaac, still not sure of snow (there was 6 inches) mainly stood in one place. Carson, on the other hand, was all over. He especially loved shaking the trees to get the snow off and eating snow (white only!). Here is a video of Carson feeding Isaac snow.


Dave pulled Carson up the road on the sled... and had Issac on his shoulders while dragging the tree back down. He never gets tired!


Finally, sledding with the boys. Carson loved it... the dogs ran along too. Isaac was not quite sure.... give it a couple of months, he will be at home with snow! Hank leads the group, and Jake fills the caboose position. It was so fun to watch!
