Our pet Toad

Okay, not a pet, just an overnight visitor. We found him hopping across the road, kept him overnight and then let him go.

Isaac has Mr. Toad and Carson has a cup full of inch worms he collected!

Garden Eats

Here is one of the first things ready to eat from our garden (outside of herbs and some peppers that made it from last year). The boys were very excited to eat them! Yummy! Radishes! I don't know who likes them more, Dave or Carson?!

Like Father, Like Son!

Camping at Holland Lake

We camped at Holland Lake again this summer.. this time for two nights. We had a great time, the lake is beautiful, there is a waterfall you can hike to and the campsites are nice. This is the first of four weekends of camping!

Our Montana boys are not phased by the chilly water... they love to swim! Notice the snow capped mountains in the background and the lovely muddler minnow!
Isaac's big catch. He gilled it, so we kept it. See the video to see the fate of the fish.

Carson, our little fisherman, caught a nice fish too!

The boys on their hike... I love it when they are getting along! :)

The boys hiked up to the waterfall. I stayed on the boat and read a book... fun for all!

My belly at 31 weeks!

Carson and Dave's boy's weekend

Dave and Terry took Carson fishing to a lake in Many Glacier in Glacier National Park. It was a 1.3 mile hike to the lake and some more hiking around the lake to fish. Carson is our little hiker and had no problem. He did fall and skin his elbows, but caught a fish and loved it! He felt pretty special and saw moose, big horn sheep and mountain goats. He also got to have a root beer and thought he was the coolest. He was so cute and saved some of his "fuzzy water" all the way from East Glacier so Isaac could have a sip. Once Isaac took a sip, Carson immediately downed the rest. :)

A 21 inch Brook Trout, not bad for a father/son team.
